HADRIEN OTTEVAERE CGI Generalist

Passionnné, créatif, investi et n'ayant pas peur de relever des défis, ma capacité à m'adapter,  communiquer et partager ont été une force lorsque j'ai eu à travailler sur des projets seul ou en équipe .
 

Durant mes 3 ans en graphisme et illustration à Tournai, Belgique, puis pendant 3 ans en réalisation numérique à Supinfocom à Valenciennes, France et finalement à ArtFx ces 2 dernières années, en spécialisation VFX et compositing , j'ai eu l'occasion d'aborder et de développer une expérience dans les nombreux domaines qui  concernent le traitement de l'image. Ces expériences et mes compétences en utilisation de logiciels, combinées à mon sens créatif m'ont permis de réaliser mes films de fin d'étude, BEAST pour Supinfocom et The Show pour ArtFx.
 

Lors de mes stages,j'ai également eu la possibilité d'accroître et d'utiliser mes compétences en travaillant sur des illustrations de livres,  des vidéos de présentation d'exposition, des réalisations de courts-métrages, des publicités et des jeux vidéo.
 

Mes compétences techniques incluent CS5 Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, AfterEffect); 3D (3Dsmax, Maya, Matchmover Zbrush, Mari et Nuke); pour mes rendus, j'ai utilisé Mental Ray, Vray et Arnold.
 

Je continue à apprécier le domaine de l'illustration car cela me permet de réaliser des concepts-art. Mais j'apprécie plus encore le travail du modeling, texturing, lighting et rendering, principalement dans le domaine de l'environnement CG.

Passionate, creative, invested and unperturbed by challenges, my capacity to adapt, communicate and share has been a strong advantage when working within a team and on solo projects.
 

During my studies of 3 years Graphic Arts and Illustration at St-Luc in Tournai, Belgium, followed by 3 years Digital Direction at Supinfocom in Valenciennes, France and finalising at ArtFx for 2 years specialising in VFX and Compositing; I have developed extensive experience in a number of domains of design, systems, development and types of works. These experiences and my computer skills, combined with my creativity allowed me to successfully create and produce my final film works, for Supinfocom ( BEAST) and ArtFx (The Show).

I also have gained experience outside of my studies, working on projects for illustration of books, video presentations, development of short films, advertisements and video games.

My system knowledge includes CS5 Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffect), 3D (3Dsmax, Maya, Matchmover Zbrush, Mari and Nuke), and for the rendering of my CGI pictures I have used Mental Ray, Vray and Arnold.

Trough my passion in the field of illustration is driven by my interest in concept art, I am still invested in the rewards of modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering, mostly in the field of CG environment.
